I can’t think of a better way to celebrate my dad on Father’s Day, than with these Bacon Brussels Sprout Kebobs! Not only are they delicious they are low in carbs and keto friendly, too.
Growing up we ate lots of vegetables as a family, we loved them all. BUT Brussels sprouts were a special favorite of mine and my dad. So much so that whenever mom served Brussels sprouts with dinner, she’d have to count them so that we all got the same amount.
There was NO way that anyone was going to get more than their equal share of Brussels sprouts!
Are we the only family who argued over who got more Brussels sprouts?
These Bacon Brussels Sprouts Kebobs make dividing up the ‘sprouts easier than ever, they are already pre-portioned and counted out.
Not only are these Father’s Day Bacon Brussels Sprout Kebobs extremely easy to make, but you can also grab all the ingredients at your local Walmart! No specialty grocery stores or fancy supplies needed…..
- Fresh Brussels Sprouts, roughly 2 pounds or 25-30 sprouts
- Wright® Brand Naturally Smoked Bacon
- Bamboo Skewers
It was love at first bite with Wright Brand Naturally Smoked Bacon, if you haven’t tried it yet you are seriously missing out.
It’s thick-cut to ensure a perfect bacon experience; it is also hand-selected and hand-trimmed, then 100% wood smoked for eight hours; packaged in a re-sealable bag for ease and convenience.
As they say on the WrightBrand Bacon website, the tradition of making bacon with care is still part of the Wright family, “passed down through generations to the family members working there today. It’s been decades since that first slab of bacon was trimmed in the back of that tiny grocery store, but you’ll still find the same thick-cut, naturally smoked bacon in every package.”
That’s “Bacon the Wright Way™.”
That’s honestly the perfect bacon slogan, don’t you think!?!
Now that you got all your supplies, including Wright Brand Naturally Smoked Bacon, let’s get started making my Bacon Brussels Sprout Kebobs.
Simply weave your bacon around the Brussels sprouts as you assemble them on your bamboo skewers…
So easy right?!?
Arrange your kebobs on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake at 400 degrees F for about 30 minutes.
I prefer to enjoy these at room temperature and not super-hot. Mostly because the bacon and sprouts both taste better but also so that they are easier to handle without burning your fingers!
