Everyday Creamy Italian Dressing

Everyday Cream Italian Dressing; Paleo, Low-Carb, Dairy-Free & Bulletproof Diet FriendlyI’ve been making homemade salad dressings for as long as I can remember. Growing up my grandmother and mother always made their own dressings, so logically I followed suit. I feel very strongly that the key to eating more healthy salads is having a delicious dressing on hand at all times. My Everyday Creamy Italian Dressing is what I consider my “house dressing,” there’s always a big bottle of it in the cabinet and it’s the dressing I most often serve with salads when we have guests.

Traditionally, I’ve always made my dressing with all olive oil until recently. I learned that you can replace half of the olive oil with coconut oil that’s been lightly heated just until it’s a liquid and once it’s mixed with the olive oil, it won’t solidify! Isn’t that super cool?? And if you’re on the Bulletproof Diet, like me you can UPGRADE your dressing even further by using MCT oil in your dressing!!

I encourage you to use this basic dressing recipe as a template to design your own house dressing. Experiment with different herbs and seasonings. Sweet or not, it’s all up to you!

  1. Will it ferment by leaving it out at room temperature, never heard of leaving salad dressing out.
    Have a great one

    1. Store bought dressings are full of funky stuff, homemade Italian dressings don’t have anything in them that would go bad 🙂 now ranch, keep that in the fridge! <3
