I’ve been working on a super-yummy, indulge-worthy, Caramel Apple Martini that also incorporates healthy ingredients….
Yes, I know there is some extra effort required, but the end result is totally worth it! A drink like this isn’t the kind you’re going to have regularly but when you have a special occasion to celebrate or guests over for dinner, this is what to make!
Here’s everything you’ll need:
- Organic Granny Smith Apples
- DeKuyper Buttershots Schnapps
- 99 Apples Schnapps
- Caramel Sauce (Click HERE for my Salted Caramel Sauce recipe)
- Martini Glasses
- Juicer, to juice your apples (I recommend the Omega 8600, click HERE to buy)
Chill your martini glass by filling them with ice and set them aside for 15-30 minutes
Juice your Granny Smith Apples, each apple will yield 2-3 ounces of fresh tart green apple juice.
Empty the ice from your martini glass and drizzle with caramel sauce
Fill your Shaker with ice, preferably crushed, then add:
- 1 oz 99 Apples Schnapps
- 2 oz Fresh Tart Apple Juice
- 2 oz DeKuyper Buttershots Schnapps
Shake your martini vigorously for 30 seconds, then strain into your martini glass and ENJOY!
The (above) directions makes 1 very full martini, these are best mixed in individual servings. Feel free to juice up a bunch of apples and store the fresh juice in the fridge for a few hours in a covered container, although it may oxidize and loose it’s beautiful green color.. I recommend juicing your apples fresh for each round of drinks.
